SCHEDULING AND PRICING

Tach&HobbsScheduling time on our Redbird SD is very simple! We are proud to be the launch customer for Tach and Hobbs, a modern, easy to use scheduling system. During your first visit with us we will create a Tach and Hobbs account for you so that for subsequent visits you can log in with your computer or mobile device and schedule the time that best meets your needs. If you would rather speak to us about your training sessions, simply call and we will assist you with this process. If you have an account with us, click here to schedule time in the simulator.

How much does it cost to fly the Redbird SD?

Red Bird SimulatorWe selected Redbird as our flight simulator because of the simplicity and cost of adding specific makes and models of aircraft to our simulation library. This flexibility allows us to keep your investment in simulator training as value packed as possible.

The base aircraft for our Redbird SD is the Cessna 182 which we chose because it represents a solid middle ground of the majority of aircraft being flown in the General Aviation fleet. We also offer a Beechcraft A36 Bonanza for the individual that flies a high performance, low wing single engine aircraft with retractable landing gear.

  • The base rate for the Redbird SD is $60 per hour with a thirty minute minimum
  • Instructor rate is $50 per hour
  • Operator assisted (set-up and operate while pilot fly’s) rate $40 per hour
  • If you are a frequent flyer we offer reduced hourly rates that are tailored to meet your needs and time challenged life
  • If you are a new client you will receive your first 30 minutes at no charge
  • Solo flight in the simulator is available once you have completed a checkout with an instructor. The checkout includes a system orientation and training in the Redbird SD $60.00
  • We regularly offer special training programs for the individual that is looking to focus on certain skills and challenges. The investment for these programs is a fixed price that will include ground and simulator time. Classes and pricing can be found on the Training Programs Page
  • Customized Training Programs can be created to meet your personal training requirements.

We can develop a flight scenario based on an upcoming flight or a scenario that you would like to fly to include weather, system and other emergency failures without an instructor (checkout required for this option)
